it’s looking good - shame you didn’t go with the funny version - might have been interesting :). The base looks very recognizable right now - perhaps watch the shape of the scull - it’s a bit square, but that may be bacause you model in the hair? Anyway, keep it coming:thumbsup:

Hi Intervain, and thank you.
I was almost shure about changing back to the caricature, and with your comment saying you prefer it too i made my mind and decided to go that way…so i came from work and open the last version(the last posted, not the caricature), because i added some details i wanted to keep.

I just deformed HEAVILY:D that mesh, using a lot the soft modification tool(Maya) to move large portions of polygons to achieve a very defined and graphic cartoon look.

So, i think i´m pretty much done with modeling, mostly because i did a lot of changes and i´m tyred of this stage wich took me a lot of time. I can do a little more, but not too much. I´d like to keep hearing comments about this last version because the feedback its helping a lot:beer: .

In a side note, doing some research about Jack Nicholson i found that he won the Oscar 3 times…amazing, and was nominated 13:surprised if i counted right at imdb .

So, this last version is based a lot in a video of Jack receiving an Oscar for a movie i never saw…(but definetly will)…“One flew over the cuckoo’s nest”

Looking great so far. I think just watch the nose. It might be too thin. Also have a look at kruger. He does great caricatures. If you haven’t already I mean :). Keep going.

Brett, thank you a lot, and about the nouse i think you´re right, so i changed it:thumbsup: , i hope its better now. Kruger´s work is AMAZING, i knew about him but i chequed his work again, realy inspiring stuff.

motorpsycho, :thumbsup: thank you very much for your words, to be honest i was a little tyred about this, and your post just gived me the motivation i was needing, so thank you very much, realy.

I decided to make him look like in the movie “The Witches of Eastwick”.

This is a expression test, but i have to finish the model yet, things like the ears, and teeth for example.

Looks great, I actually think the ears and teeth look fine at the moment. I would say maybe try deforming the teeth with the smile since its a caricature. That might work it might not but i know they do in the drawings. otherwise really digging this.

I haven’t checked this thread out in a while, apparently. I’m glad you decided to go with the caricature. It looks great. I love the hair, too. Great touch.

First time, i check your thread.

I like the eyebrows, blend of forehead & hair which gives more impact of caricature.
Awaiting for ear model to be complete.

Thank you very much for the comments, and sorry about the late response, i was waiting for having an update before posting.

Here i have 5 expressions to show, i have almost all done but there are some things to pulish and render. i started the expressions realy late, and with some things like teeth and ears unfinished, so with the dateline closer i choosed to use the free time in working the expressions and model…leaving the thread a little dead:sad: …so sorry about that.

I gotta be honest and tell you the red shader is not really working, though I know what you were going for. “Heeerrreeee’s Johny!” though, is AWESOME!!

Very nice work, good to see you’re gonna get this one done. I think flirty is my favourite, it really captures his character nicely. I like rage a lot too, it’s nice that you can push it so far with this being a caricature.

rage is my favourite. it actually reminds me of jim carrey from the movie " mask".
