HMC#19: 80's Cartoon: Robotech SDF-1

Its been a while since I participated in a modeling challenge so I decided to really go for something hard and fun. I have decided to model the SDF-1 ship in cruiser mode as seen in the Robotech cartoon series. Here are some images I have found so far.

I have started to model the side arm of the ship, the part that has the runway on it.

Very nice, that was the carrier Prometheus, which was attached to the SDF-1 and became the “left arm” when in stormattacker configuration. The other arm is the Daedalus. Nice work.

Very cool choice, I can’t wait to see more… I’m modelling a VF-1J Valkyrie myself, which would be about 3 pixels wide on the flightdeck. :stuck_out_tongue:
