HMC #10: Lion attack zebra

#8

I have worked with the zebra a little more. I still need much work: the lion’s air and face, enviroment, etc
. I made a test render…

#9

That’s a pretty awesome days worth of work. I loved the pose in your scetches and your getting very close to it.

#10

No kidding! That is absolutely awesome work indeed and all in just a day. Damn!

So I take it you are going to sculpt the fur instead of making it a hair sim? Are you completely staying in Z with this project?

#11

wow really nice work dude. i like this one alot. your Zbrush work is amazing. i’ll be watching this one!

#12

Hi!!

I have had a little time today to work in the model.
I have decided to make the hair in Zbrush
a little slow but it does not displease to me as it is in some parts. Despite I must work it more.
Also I have thought that both animals are crossing a pool and the lion has mud in the hair
and also in the zone of impact of the kick of the zebra.

mask for the
eyeteeths / tweak tool for all the air

#14

TheRazorsEdge…, yes! All the process is done in Zbrush.

More renders with one of the zbrush 3 materials. I like very much!!

#15

Hello. I have changed the pose of the lion and the zebra; and I have begun to detail the zebra

Last image is a render test in Zbrush.

#16

Nice work. I like it alot.

#17

Hi. More render tests with texture in progress…
Thanks brutal85 !

#18

Very sweet progress! I really like how ths is coming along.

#19

I really like it so far, one thing that niggles me a bit though is the zebras spine, it seems to bend too much at the shoulders, mebbe try and bring the spine down a tad and perhaps build up the shoulders a little too

#20

This is looking awsome so far.
Zbrush is destroying my polymodeling x_x
