Hidy Ho!

Just wanted to give a little introduction, since that is what this thread is about. I am proud to be a member of this secret society… I mean… CG Society.

Well lets see, my name is Kimberly, I am a 24 year old Bachelors student working on my Bachelors of Science in Animation and Film. I am looking for a school to go to for my Masters so that I can teach while in the Industry… but that is still a few months away. Not sure what else to say in this introduction other than hello and that I am happy to be a part of this.

Greetings to you Kimberly

Nice to have you around!

#3

Thank you for the warm welcome, it brings a smile to my face. It is good to be here.

Hey just kinda curious, to those out there reading this… anyone from San Diego? I was kinda hoping to try and get a meet of sorts down here.

#5

Anyone from San Diego?

Oh, there are a couple of us. BTW - There is a 3DS Max User’s Group tonight if you are into the platform and feeling spontaneous… It is HERE at 7:30pm. The best part is often after the meet drinking beers and networking, etc.

Oh, and welcome - sounds like you have a good plan.

shakes fist Darn my classes! Actually I am sitting, in class right now, what time is the meeting over? ~Goes to click on the link~ I may not be 3dsMax yet BUT the key word there is yet and am sure I can kinda understand bits and pieces. Maya and 3dsMax are pretty similar so I hear.

Whoops it is actually 7:00pm to 9:00pm,… I usually go with about a dozen or so of the crew (m & f) for a beer afterwards, like I said the real action is there as far as networking and meeting players.

#8

Darn my hours, who knows, maybe I will be able to make it, I’ll get in touch if I can.
