Hide unselected UV clusters in the viewport (unwrap modifier)

Sorry for the stupid question, but I can’t find online (due to english not being native maybe).

How to hide the unwanted clusters/islands in unwrap so that you clearly see the part you are working on in the viewport?
I think I saw this was introduced in 2017 or so, but never got to use it.

probably best if you go into polygon mode, select the bits you want, click on the triangle+eye next to the lock at bottom.

that is…Display only the selected polygons.

it’s a bummer that it doesn’t work for vert/edge modes.

You are right, sometimes, those kind of options feel like their potential isn’t unleashed fully.
