Hi there From New Zealand

I thought that I should say WASSUP to everyone out there.

I guess a should say a little about myself, My name is Kris Slagter, I was born in Napier New Zealand Moved to Wellington in 2000 to study at Massey Design School which I graduated about 3 years ago with a Bacholar of Design Major in Computer graphics and animation. During my final year at Massey I was Hired as a Tutor to teach the very class that I was in as well as the year below me ( I don’t know how that happend but it was well needed money ) the following year I continued to teach tell I was offered a full time postion at Sidhe interactive a gaming studio here in Wellington in August of 2004 and I’m there till this day as and animator and Rigger in Maya. the crazy thing is I was offered a position to Work at Weta on Kong as a modler to help create New York but turned it down as I had only been at Sidhe for a week.

so all in all I’ve been using 3D for about 6 years now and just started to post some of my work … entired the Journey begins Chellange which was alot of fun and I hope to tackle the next one

A little… but I think I would be out of a job by now if I did take up the offer, it was just a temp contract.
