Hello, all Society Members. Let me be the first to ring the ceremonial brass pig to bring in the newness of it all. Anyone who wishes to rub the lucky hairless gopher on their way in, it’s over there by the door…

I’m an animator in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. That’s a four hour drive north of Toronto, and two hour drive south of the armpit of nowhere. I own my own Studio that consists of me, my dog, and a few rapidly antiquating computers taking up a spare bedroom in my house.
Most of my work is in and around R&D. (Using Max.) Locally, there’s a lot of mining companies, so I do mining R&D. Otherwise, I’m big into Aerospace and Tele-Robotics (mostly for US companies, like SpaceDev). Lately, I’ve had the honour of having my work illustrate the feature article in the March 2005 issue of Popular Science. I’ll also be in the June issue (non-feature), and will be again illustrating the feature article in the July issue. I guess that means my work is OK… but it could always be better. It would be nice if 80% wasn’t hidden under NDAs.
Anyway, I digress! Let’s hope that this Society thing takes off, and Mark and Leo don’t lose their minds trying to keep it all togther.
