I thought I’d drop in and say hi. For those of ya that don’t know me, I’m currently an FX artist at Omation here in sunny California. I’m just looking forward to the cool things that I know this lot can do in order to help out. It’s good to see all those badges as a sign of support for the community we all love.

Hi Gang,
I’m Lu, and I currently work at Omation Studios as an FX TD. My strengths lie in rigging and I like both Maya and XSI. I’d thought I’d give FX a try since it’s pretty much open-ended problem solving, and I love coming up with wacky solutions. Now if I can solve my sleeping schedule and actually stick to it.
CGTalk has been my support system from the first time I posted out of a dark classroom in Florida to my current job now. I love the place because it’s got the talent and the generosity that the pros exemplify. Honestly, I wouldn’t have learned as much as I have without the community and their support. CGTalk has helped me get through some of the worst times when I doubted my chances of getting into 3D. I’m just happy that I can help out and keep things going for those that are just getting into 3D as well as current members. What can I say? I love this place and the people behind the avatars.
