HH-60G Pave Hawk MEDEVAC

Sorry for that i wrote german.

Omg, micro he says…

Omg, speechless

Anyway, omg…
Well, omg…

I’m speechless, awesome work:thumbsup:

My god, I just found this thread. Your work is awesome. Technical, high detail and precise modeling is my favorite. Reminds me of building model kits, only digitally.
And it’s good to see something fresh and different on this site. Too many fearies, cityscapes and gothic castles lately.

Keep it up

#344

DUUUUUDE! … I have this posting window open now for a few minutes and simply don’t know what to write…

…then I keep on shaking my head

#345

for the background, this tank is ok  and It’ said me,Person who I know told me how to make a good tank

#346

Once again… what can I say?

OK, thats a really great background tank… over and above what is required from a background object! Just can’t turn off your ‘detail’ enjin, can you:)

Regards
Giom

#347

background, pfff  … i guess half of the details would have been enough - i guess you didnt unwrap the parts within the 8 seconds also ?

#348

I also want to model a M1 Abrams. This is my WIP. Not much yet. :stuck_out_tongue:

@scrimski: Three cups of coffee, fast music and then go!

@xLonewolfx: Yes hehe, lets see!

@DrJZoidberg: I never touched blender. So there´s a fast workflow? Thanks for the compliment!

@Dean92: Thanks but look, these are just a few primitives stuck together :stuck_out_tongue:

@thx1138: Thanks for the nice words

@DerPapa: Thanks !

@Pionier: Yes its for background

@Giom: Thanks too! Sometimes my so called detail engine is getting on my nerves

@Powermaennchen: In the shot I have in may head this is the right amount of details i think. He´ll be 1/3 size of the PAL resolution and moving. Unwrapping was partially done

@DrJZoidberg: lol you hacked my thread! Come on, press the “Edit”-Button  But tell me first, how long you took for this.

@simon.wt: Aaaalaaarrmm!!! :slight_smile:

@Manuel F.: Hehe thanks and watch out because of headaches!

I hope I can post something to look at soon!

Cheers
André

Don´t worry, i open a new thread instead posting my WIP´s here. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hmm… maybe it tooked one hour to model it, but only because of some problems that i have wrote before. For example… bevelling/chamfering.

Blender has a really good workflow. If you know all Combos, you can work pretty fast. But the disadvantage is, when you are new to Blender it isn´t very easy to work with it.

Blender is the best 3d freeware i know.

#353

@DrJZoidberg: Thanks  So how do you champfer the edges? I jsut select them and press champfer with a defined size. Sure Blender is the best freeware 3D-software!

So here´s a small update. Just a boring UV-space to keep the thread beeing up to date.

For sure te chunks will be optimized when everything is modeled and included.

Cheers
André

Heyt Cantarel,

I have to ask, how do you paint your textures? How do you know which part is which? Are you using a program such as… lets say DeepPaint?

#355

@Kurosaki Ichigo: Hi! All textures are painted by hand from scratch in Photoshop. No 3d painting software is used here.

Well I forgot to post this little image which shows what is included in the UV-template above.

Cheers
André

#356

Is that the new digital camo on the tank?

#357

Wasn’t the tank planned to be a background model?

#358

damn your moving fast

btw how many texture maps and what sizes are u using for the heli and tank too?

#359

Really? You are amazing! How do you know what ever piece is when you unwrap it?

#360

Writing numbers in the uv template(in PS) helps with this.
