I am going through the Maya hair tutorial to learn, but i when i go to “-Display, Start Position” the hair disappears. So i decided just to go onwards with the tut anyways and next step is selecting the individual hair curves, but its not working. I don’t know what the heck i did and why i cannot do these two simple things. Help? Thanks a bunch 
OMG, I just realized after like an hour that when i select Display-Start Position for some stupid reason it hides the hair curves… ugh. I’ll keep posting though because there’s no doubt in my mind i’ll probably need help with this again.

I figured out why i couldn’t select the points (CV’s) too… haha… so simple, yet so annoying. anyways, check it out so far…
