[help] weird polygon surfaces

#1

Hello everyone, This is my first post. I’m new in maya, and i use maya 2013 x86 You can see the problem happened to me on the pictures i attached. When i
work on shoe polygon and the i zoom out my object, i saw kind of messy
shading on the surfaces of my polygon, i thought it occur because i work
on smooth poly, then i pressed 1 to see the low polygon, and it’s worse
than before. Then i checked other polygon, and it all have the same
problem. I tried to create new polygon, the problem still same. Then
finaly i restart my maya and re opened my scene and the result was
nothing change, the problem still there I tried to find the solutions of my problem over the forums, but none can solve my
problem. I tried to fix the normals because i think this is related to
the issue, but it didn’t work for me all. Maybe some of you recognise the problem when you see the images, because it is
difficult to explain when it happened, i found this suddenly when i zoom
out of my objects. I’m so grateful if some of you respond to my problem
guys

Thank You.

This looks like a camera issue. I did see these kind of artefacts in my viewport when my perspective camera had a very low -Angele of View- value and a very low -Near Clip Plane- value in the Camera Attributes. You can change them in the Attribute Editor, or maybe create a new camera trough your viewports menu: Panels > Perspective > New . I hope this helps, then you can delete the messed up camera.

Good luck!
