Hi guys, I’m rendering a trailor using Mental ray in max 8 with a sky light + plane setup and a direct light, my issue is that I keep getting some transparency cracks on parts of my trailor, the material i’m using for the base paint is just a standard material with raytrace in the reflection set at 10, where the cracks are i have a composite map with base map and a opacity map. All my mats have 2 sided checked. I can’t post any images because this is for work. If anyone knows whats causing this I’d really appreciate it thanks.
