Hi, my Maya behaves very strange since a while. I don’t know why.
First thing: when I close Maya and want to reopen it, it will not, giving me an error-message-Window in the lower right corner of my screen, where I cannot read anything but the start of “error: …”
I even cannot move that window and it closes very soon. I have to restart my PC to work with Maya again.
Second thing: Every time that happens, Maya resets my setted project. So I have to set my project again.
Third thing: Maya always deletes my custom shelf and the polygons shelf.
strange, but my User-Prefs remain. But when I look inside my maya-prefs folder and in the shelves folder. There are a lot of files like "shelf_Polygons.mela07680, shelf_Polygons.melb07680, … " and so on
I already reinstalled Maya and it happened again.
Can it be the reason, that I have my Documents-Folder with the maya-Folder connected to Dropbox? I would wonder, if so, because I do it that way for many years now.
