there… i’ve set myself up and i’m ready to make a proper introduction.

I’m an sefltaught 2D artist and has been doing this for as long as i can remember… wich at my age of 33, is a long time indeed… had a childhood full with influences from Robotech/Macross, Transformers and most of the early 80’s robot/mecha tv shows there were at that time… after moving to sweden, i discovered Marvel Comics and Dark Horse… but mostly it was X-Men that made me reconsider my style and forced me to go from the square-ish robots to more soft lines of the human body… not an easy thing i tell you, but i managed… during late teens and mid 20’s i took in more influences from manga such as Dragonball Z, adding more to my knowledge of the human anatomy…

Today, i’m still learning, still improving as you an see in my portfolio still growing and hoping to live my dream… wich is at the moment, the opportunity to live of my art by working for any of the companies that have need of one with my skills… wich mostly are game companies that want character development…

Anyway… i think this is it.

Presentation done… if there’s anything you want to ask me, please go ahead and send a PM.

Yours truly.

Christian/Soulranger

Greetings from a semi-new member as well. Ha HA lots of WoW stuff. As an avid fan of the game I approve :applause: Pretty nice stuff in your site, really like your use of color there, and also definately see the comic influences. I completely understand how hard it is to redefine a style once you’ve worked in it for awhile. Back in the day when I knew no better, I initially learned face and figure drawing from anime XD (alot of good that did me) Even now there’s still shades of it in pieces.

Look forward to see you around!

Now ya make me wanna go back and start some fan art as well >.>…

I made Transformer pics for about 10 years or so, and remaking myself to fit the marvel comic universe was one of the hardest things in my life ever… my humanoids had no neck, really short ar,s and no real muscle features, but i thought back then they were nice… XD

I’m glad to have the approval of another WoW fantast, as i try to think whhat me as a player would like to see implemented in the game…

Hehehe… well… waddayawaiting for? get to it! no better art than fanart!

Hi Soulranger,

I am fairly new too. I am still trying to brush up digital art skills but given the tacky technology that I have It’s really difficult.

I hope to see some amazing works from you.
