'hello kittie' with a flamethrower

I was asked to post the other images of this series and while cleaning those up I changed the background of this one too. since simply posting the other ones (and replacing the flamethrower-thingie) in here would be against the rules and would change the overall subject of this thread (which isn’t supposed to be WIP and so on) I simply won’t do that. I hope it’s ok with everyone if I post links to the three newer ones though. :hmm:

note: the backgrounds aren’t quite as well aligned as I wanted them to be (read: more regular irregularity :P). no time for that, so don’t tell anyone… :wink:

hi all,

I’ve been lurking in this forum for a while now and grown quite fond of it… well, long story short, I joined and think it’d be nice to start off with a picture. probably not the usual style, but I hope you still like it.

Note: I grew pretty tired of kitties cuteness, so I decided to do some images with her in ‘unusual’ poses. done with illustrator, meant to be printed on a shirt.

c&c welcome, let the bashing commence.

Distrubingly cute, but I think the goggles detract from the classic Hello Kitty image.
But still good :slight_smile:

Ha, I like it… not sure about the fire swirl…but I love the detail in it for a fairly basic style.

the flamethrower itself shouldn’t have cornered edges but rounded…
very cool work!

bigUnitedDesign: I haven’t yet found the time to adjust the background to the kittie herself (read: make some simple vector-based flames in a circular pattern), but since I’ve done three of these kittie-pictures (one which you people won’t find half as interesting as this one (a kittie munching a giant cake and looking like she’s pretty close to throwing up, birthday present for my girlfriend) and one most don’t want to see (a pornstar kittie, though it’s not half as weird as it sounds…) I’ve decided to add something circular in each background to make it look more like a series… this is the result of too little time. :wink:

gf666: hm, rounded corners… I think you’ve got a point there, I’ll look into it before getting the hole thing printed.

yeah real fun man! “bauchweh” means stomacache right? my german is not that good… :stuck_out_tongue: i like them! only the porn kitties feet look odd, maybe you can overlook that one. i think with some minor adjustments you can improve the image a lot more!!
