Head model morphs when I add body parts?

I started by sculpting a face.(Example) I then made the body and appended it to the head, however, when I do so, the shape of the head changes somewhat. (Example2) It’s almost as if I’m turning off the perspective view on the head.

Is there some way to avoid this?
Do people wait with sculpting faces until the whole body has been made to avoid this issue?
Is it better to do the sculpts in orthographic view inside Zbrush?

I’ve had similar issue when taking things over to 3dsm from Zbrush in the past, I’ll have to change the FOV of the camera I use to render until it looks a bit more like it did in Zbrush but then other things in the scene might be a bit off.

Any tips would be appreciated.

if it came from another 3d app try tool>deformation>unify
then try append,
you may all so try unifying the appended model first
