Hdri rendering and shadow catcher problem

Hi to all…
Its my first post here so i wish a happy new year to all.

I recently tried to make my first 3d model with a 2d background rendering using the mached HDRI image for a light source. (lightwave 3d)

The main problem is that the polygon that i use to catch the shadow under the 3d model takes color from the HDRI img and i can’t match it to the background img by changing luminosity and difuse.

I olso tried to play with gamma on hdri ans backgroun images and still no good results.
Any help would be much appreciated. :slight_smile:

Can’t you turn off “receive Final Gather” under the render stats of the ground plane?
