Oh my! Iā€™m so stupid guys, I was sure that this challenge would end today!
Since Iā€™ve got some extra time ( -_- ), I worked a little bit more on momā€™s suit (I wasnā€™t totally happy with it). Maybe Iā€™ll fix other things tooā€¦

Today I sculpted some pleats and now I think that momā€™s suit looks better.

Itā€™s really REALLY hard to make the pleats of the suits pop up with a camo texture like that (If you have any piece of advise :)ā€¦).

Nice rendering, mate! :wink:
to make the creases pop up you can eventually add some very rough spec, or lower the contrast on the diffuseā€¦or even better : bring them out from a shadow pass in post-processing

Thank you Nerikson! Iā€™m following your advices. Unfortunately I donā€™t think that a shadow pass could help me since Iā€™m using a normal map and the creases arenā€™t ā€œrealā€ :/.
However a good number of friends told me that the background looks unrealistically empty.
The background is empty because my aim was to create a symbolic scene but Iā€™m doing some tests/adding things and the results seem interestingā€¦(Iā€™ll posting something later on).

Hey Marco, you can always add post effects on photoshop, pop some blending mode layers and paint details-in, its easier and cleaner i think, nice work man !

Yes, I think Iā€™m going to add things in photoshop :).
Howeverrrrr, I modeled a house to fill the background (nothing special).

Iā€™m adding other stuff too.

I think that Iā€™m going to blur everthing to get more depth. Iā€™m also experimenting with lights :).

I really hope so :).
This is my final entryā€¦FINAL (this is not at full resolution).

Now I really like the general mood, Iā€™m not totally satisfied butā€¦you know, I have a lot to learn about modeling and v-ray :). I made differen changes (kidā€™s hair and clothes, new background, new lights).
I canā€™t wait to see other works :D. BYE!!!
