Hi all, I’ve been keen to get in on one of these challenges for a while so here I go! I will be modeling up the entrance to 221b Baker Street as seen in Sherlock Holmes.
Reference, research and artboards coming soon.

I’ve decided to go with a modern take on 221B Baker St, as represented in the BBC series Sherlock. From what I understand, filming for 221B actually took place at 187 N Gower St - as seen in these reference images.

As well as the entrance to 221B, I’ll model the surrounding buildings (cafe) and street scene to complete my diorama. Time to block it out!
Heres my first WIP - An initial blockout showing the door at the centre of the composition and surrounding environment.

Worked on the iron railings, upper windows and the stonework around the entrance - starting on the cafe next to the entrance next.

Tidied up a few things here, added some additional details I found in some new reference images, and worked on the cafe next to the main door.

Hi all, thanks for your comments. Here is the final image I submitted for the challenge.
