looks like the portfolio page has limited it to about 5 photos, so check out my website, all models are posted there.

Id like to do a creature from Avatar, but its not listed on their film list… its also unclear or unlikely that they designed the creatures, but I think they rendered out most of them, and worked on other ‘visual effects’… Am I just imagining this, or did WETA work on that film, and can’t I do a creature from that?
Im excited, and want to be a part. Cool challenge!
That is why I been pointing out that an entry has to be based on work designed by WETA workshop.
To be honest I am trying to avoid a flood of avatar entries, and it seem to have worked.
Ok what creature do you have in mind?
Yeah I agree with Kong in Chains. I am committed to B-Movie challenge. This is so tempting it is really pushing my capabilities. I cannot resist I will give it a try! Weta Rocks and so do creatures! Shot out to my boys at Weta Jarom and Sergio. HollaRRRRRRR!
sure … wait … depends … are you an outer-space alien?
just kidding … sure anyone can join.
welcome aboard!
i wanna get started in this one.
im also in the b-movie challenge.
i guest i can take on this also just for the fun and practice of it.
This may be a stupid question but I’m a CGS noob…I’m not savvy with digital modelling, I can still use my old traditional methods with this? ie clay?
That would be a Roberto question. Technically I think it’s a digital modeling chalenge but I would like to see what you would make in clay.
sweet,
i just checked the rules again, and basically the only thing i can think of that makes us do this in digital, is that this site is all about Computer Graphics.
It’s also a shame that little people even read the rules. Roberto, could you emphasize next time that no existing models can be used? I kind of find it unfair to compete against these competitors.
cheers
