Sweet a mini challenge. How about IG-88? Does that work?

Hey magoohan,
Awesome looking robot the ABC man - unfortunately not my model but you can purchase one from www.monstersinmotion.com - check it out, still waiting on whether its a go or not for this challenge though,…
Hi! This is my first time on CGTalk. I was interested in participating in the challenge! I read over the rules, and I believe I’m correct in thinking that we have to pick a robot from the list? However, I had a very specific robot in mind. I was wondering if it could be allowed for me to do H.E.L.P.eR., the robot from The Venture Brothers. Here’s as good of an example as I could find quickly.

Please let me know if this is okay. Thank you!
In the comic book category, since Cyborg(of teentitans i presume) is in,
can Cyborg Superman (Hank Henshaw) qualify? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hank_Henshaw)
I’ve been dying to make a model of him and this seems like a good excuse to start
The Tau Empire? From http://uk.games-workshop.com/tau/]Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K.
EDIT: Nevermind. I completely spaced on the fact that Tau = Aliens in armor.
Hey Roberto, how about Robo from Chrono Trigger? Or a character from the Mega Man games?
What about a Space marine Dreadnought or the Necrons ( dreadnought is similar in idea to kane from robocop in as it has a super old half dead space marine inside acting as the controler for the robot), they are mostly a pickle jar with some brains in them.
Like Daleks. I believe they are on the list too. By that you could include the mechanoids as well.
I heard about this contest too late.
It would have been cool to add the Madox-01:

Maybe for a futur contest.
