Has Animation Master`s stability improved?

#1

I would like to know if it would be save to retry Animation Master, or if it is still so crash-prone as before.

My latest version was Animation Master 99; I didnt bother to upgrade because I couldnt stand the constant crashing, especially on undo.

So has it improved since then?

A bit from collumn A, a bit from collumn B.

AM’s stability got REALLY bad in 2001 or so I’m told, I skipped that one. The current versions are far more stable than that one but I wouldn’t say they’re much more stable than am 99 or 2000 editions.

It has a 30 day, no questions asked, money back guarantee. So what have you got to lose?
To answer your question, I am using version 11t, it is super stable–as stable as the legendary 8.5p!

Much more stable. They really have done a heck of a job on it!

I find version 11 (2004) to be quite stable. They have made a concerted effort to address the stability issues in the last couple of versions. And it – along with the rigging plugins created by Anzovin – are a formidable tool for character animation.

I use A:M V11t and 11.1a and they are ROCK!! solid… I go weeks without crashing… AM lovin it…

I have to agree. Stability is up to par with all other 3d apps I’ve used.
Is there still a crash here or there… yes, but it really is a rare event.

Just to hammer in the message once more, AM is much more stable these days. All software that I have used has flipped out on me from time to time so AM is as good as any of them and there is certainly no excuse for not getting things completed.

Plus, if you do find an issue then it may well be fixed within the month if you report it.

Looks like the 2005 CD is out. A good time to buy. You get 11.1 which is nice and stable.
