Hi all. I’m considering updating my monitor set-up , and I’m wondering if my current graphics card & CPU are up to it. I’m thinking a 32 inch UHD monitor, but haven’t decided on moving on to a single monitor. Currently I’m using a 24 inch DellUltraSharp and an old BENQ 20 inch. My graphics card is an ASUS GEForce GTX 1070 8GIG., the CPU an Intel I7 Skylake stock. The PSU is a 650 WATT corsair. Would dual monitors be too taxing with these specs, if one of those monitors was a 32 inch. ?

The diagonale of the monitor is of no consequence, the resolution is. Usually a 1070 should have no problem handling multiple 4K displays. Even the mobile integrated Intel GPU of my i5 tablet PC handles one 4K display and a 3K side by side easily.
