Got my first real break in 2004 from “David Dozoretz” of http://www.persistenceofvision.com on a small production for the film “Flight of the Phoenix” produced by 20th Century Fox and as that production neared the end I got a call from Ron Thornton asking if I was willing to move to London and work under him on the Gerry Anderson production of new Captain Scarlet, working on such a project with so many people gave you a lot of experience in how things work and the time frame we worked under was extremely short…so it helps to create a faster way of working…Even though it was a good experience…the time frame was too short to actually get the level of quality that you wanted out of the vehicles and sets, so things got sacrificed in order to meet the deadlines…
Before Scarlet had finished I got my next job offer from a company in soho, I accepted the offer, stayed on the scarlet production till the end and then took a holiday until the new job started.
The new job was with Molinare/Darkside Animation where I became senior modeler working for clients including, Universal, Nike, BBC, WV, ITV, Warner Bros Television.
I finished that job on the 31st of Jan, and took another holiday after that…
I am now back and ready for more work and am currently looking primarily for work in the London area...but I am willing to relocate to almost anywhere in the world in pursuit of experience and knowledge...
My strongpoint would be modeling hard surface but I also have an understanding of lighting and shading, but of course everything can be improved otherwise there wouldn’t be a point to this business I believe.
