Happy little trees ... in Painter Essentials 6

#1

Hey all

I’m trying to get into painting again and wanted to start with simple Bob Ross style landscapes. And i hit a snag in my (current) software.

I used to use Painter IX (looooong time ago) and decided since my new Wacom came with Essentials 6 it would be easy enough to use right ?
Wrong :frowning:

Been hitting many small snags with stuff that just seems to be missing form Essentials in favor of the full (pricy) version.

My biggest problem atm is that brush controls are not really a think. So angles and/or jitter cannot be controlled. So does anybody have any good ways of creating a bit of randomness for example some “happy little trees” ? Basically i need something that gives me a kind of branch shape without having to draw each one.
