Hair color from surface with 'Flat' type or instance


So many uses for hair that need color from surface of parent object, but need hair geometry (feathers, scales, piñata)

How can it be done?

e.g selecting ‘Flat’ type gives all hair geometry localised UV maps and no longer responds to Surface color in hair material.


Guess we’ll just file that one in the long list of things that are impossible to do in Cinema4d, but easy with other software.
