could you post the solution please…

The solution was for me to run the Guerilla render application followed by loading a OBJ or FBX file into Guerilla render; although the documentation states you can load an exported Guerilla project from Maya followed by loading that same project you exported from Maya as a Guerilla file project format into the Guerilla render; I was unable to successfully get this to work. If anyone could help; I would appreciate it ?

This is the reason why I removed the original post because I was a little embarrassed that the solution was fairly straight forward, only with one hiccup, maybe I should rename the original post to; problem loading Guerilla project file into Guerilla render as stated above.

Hi,

Exporting a Maya scene to Guerilla should be fairly straight forward:

For the first export, click the Guerilla > Create New Guerilla Project menu item.
This will create a new Guerilla project and bake your current scene into a couple of ghostproject/ghostdata cache files with the same name. Guerilla should open then (or check the export options.)
If it doesn’t open, you can still open the gproject file from Guerilla directly.

If you need to rebake your scene (to update the geometry, for instance) simply click the Guerilla > Export Cache menu item. This will ask for the previously exported ghostproject/ghostdata files to be updated.
Then reload the Guerilla scene.

Does this solve your problem?

Cheers!
Ben
