Title: Guanajuato Alley
Name: Eugenio GArcia
Country: Mexico
Software: Lightwave 3D, Photoshop

hi everyone, i want to share my first work of the year, inspired in a trip
to Guanajuato México, i did this image, is an alley of that Old Mexican City
its a great city, if you can you must visit it.
i took 5 days to complete it, i basically work on lightwave 3d and i did the
textures and final composition in photoshop cs with a wacom tablet.
i hope you like it.

Happy new Year

very nice work, mate!
It really IS something: to finish such scene in just 5 days. I know it isn’t very complicated yet it’s still a big plus to work fast. keep it up!
there are some nice warm colours, especially down the alley. Have you been using LW’s built-in radiosity or just faked the effect? How long did it take to render the whole scene?
The only thing that bothers me are that lines/cables between roofs, which look a bit too much stiff. maybe second building could be less saturated also.

other than that - very decent work!

*the only thing that bothers me is the reflection on the windows on the right side:wise:, the rest is well executed…lighting, textures…the plants are awesome!

#4

Finally some architecture that doesn’t look artificial. Good job and good attention to details.

I like it. The lighting is fantastic, textures are great…except the bottom part of the left wall…a little too much bump, IMO. But overall it is a excellent image, very warm:thumbsup:

Una palabra: Fregon

In english:

Awesome work. I really dig the lighting and the composition. Some textures look a bit bland like the “mining” pot texture looks a little “bland”. Maybe you like it that way though! Very good work, needs some polish but nothing major really.
