Greetings from Vancouver

I’ve been a CGSociety member for a couple weeks now, so it’s time to introduce myself. I’ve been studying CG more seriosly for the past several months, prior to that I was a full-time software developer in NYC (moved to Van at the end of February). My interests are in visual effects and compositing, although I’ve dabbled in other fields as well, e.g. video editing (did a couple spots for the Parsons Dance Company in NYC, but still don’t know what their fate was, might upload them onto my .Mac account and share them soon). It’s good to see familiar PixelCorps faces around - PXC and cgtalk.com are the only forums I visit on a regular basis and found both to be great communities. So, greetings to everyone.

So far, so good. Nicer than other places I’ve lived before. If there’s enough snow this winter I’ll be even happier :slight_smile:

I live in Toronto but livin in Vancouver sounds to me cool. Maybe after winter.
