Wow man, this is some very cool work. Loving the angel in armour espescially, really nice design choices on the wings and the the armour modeling is great. The capital ship is also looking really good, great sense of scale and menace i think…

Hey that cap ship looks awesome, mind if I ask how you did that panelling and texture detail?
If you dont mind posting a wirefram I would love to see how much detail is modelled and how much detail is texture work… Just curious, looks great, cant wait to see the final composition

Not a problem man… wire frames coming up… most of the detail is just procedural textures… and bump maps
Your drop ship model looks pretty good. The only thing I would say is the texturing looks like a quick job. The way it’s mapped on the rockets looks like you did a simple side planer map at it’s current angle, then a top down planer map. You could try seperating UV sections, laying them out and working the texture to fit the area.
Then again, based on the sketch if the camera is far from the ship, maybe it won’t be needed. Your call. Other wise I like the texture mood and the ship shape. Ha ha I said ship shape. 
So where are and what kind of weapons are on this beast? Ion Beams, Lasers, Rockets, bombs? Just curious what kind of destructive power this hulk has… :), and man I need a to read some tutorials on texturing and procedurals of space ships…

just working on the texture for the drop ship there is only going to be close enough to the camera to see some detail… more concept on the total picture coming… no guns on this guy… its suposed to have alot of fighter escort
Tyler…I wanted to mention that once they see these works of ours at 3600* by 2700* or so, more details will be prevalent than what we are now seeing on our monitors…I think your texture job is very nice,I like the pallette choice and it has come out real nice…keep at it hard,it is paying off…:arteest:
full image concept… alot of fire coming from the ships and the city it self… the city shooting green anti air fire… there will be lots of fighters in the air along with drop ships

Keep it up! The scetch is now a bit clearer… I have one question tho… which object will be the center of the scene… the angels or something else?
