Textures look great, and i really like that glow on his arm

#22

a huge capital ship concept/model… will be one of the attacking ships

#23

The armor is awsome! As well as the ship. Awaiting your new stuff!

#24

Hi there

I love when I see some bran new ship designs. This beat everything I’ve seen yet in this challenge when it comes to uniqueness. I´m still not sure if I like it or not…With some more details, and just a little hint in the design on how this ship is working, it could be brilliant. Anyway, I think it´s good there are no gravity out there, it would have to use some pretty strong jets to stay lifted off ground if there were…

Keep on the originality, as I struggle to find mine.

Henrik

Nice images.
And cool modeling.

See this:

#26

Well, need to add some; Ofcourse it would fly pretty well near gravity:)…Most of the other ship designs in this challenge aren´t very aerodynamic neither, mine including. And they have anti gravity and all that kind of things in the reality we are creating. Sorry

Wow - that character looks awesome -the textures on the arm rock, I love the glowing orange as it contrasts the green brilliantly!

The ship looks promising - looking forward to seeing more!

#28

just to give you guys an idea of where im going with it…

#29

The center part is going to be for drop ships… its mostly a troop transport/ propaganda machine with masive comunication stuff… the original idea i had hade a huge holographic emiter going with propaganda on it

#30

Cool model! I’t looks really epic (not sure if it is really huge, but it looks it), so it would be great to see some other ships in comparison to it (when they’re done, of course).

Anyway, keep up the great work!

#31

If that ships going to be like an aircraft carrier, who needs to go into the atmosphere? Also when your that huge, who needs speed !

Are you going to put any metalic plating on the sides?

#32

hey gr8 job goin on there… i really like thos concept drawings… and models r really taking shape… keep up the good works mate… :buttrock:

#33

Close to the final texture for the cap ship… alot of bump map and difuse work

#34

all bundeled in to one just sat down and made it… i wanted this drop ship to look like a insect about to pounce on something

#35

It looks very heavy and like it could take a lot of punishment flying into a battle zone. The only problem is that the soldiers are so safe inside, they wouldn’t want to leave once they landed! Of course, I’d love to see the look on the enemy’s face when they saw this thing coming toward them. :surprised It’s looking great.

#36

lol… thanks =)

Looks like work is coming along pretty well. I think more concept sketches of your ships, city, and soldiers might help us and the judges be able to comprehend your ideas before they are fully modeled and such. Even if you don’t feel your 2D can compare with your 3D, you’d be amazed as to what a few simple lines and some text could do to help us understand what it is you’re trying to illustrate before you have a ship entirely modeled and textured, as I’m thinking (with my limited 3D knowledge) that once all that is done, it’s a little harder and more frusterating to make significant changes and might lead to some glitches and errors remaining unfixed in the final product.
Just some very simple drawings illustrating what it is you’re trying to convey would be helpful for me to throw some suggestions in before your hands get too dirty

#38

Alright ill be sure to make some then thanks for the input

#39

Quite an epic shot you have planned Tyler…Nice start on the modeling.I think your craft has that bug ready to pounce look, well done.I’ll be watching for more, keep up the nice work…:arteest:
