supa nice sketchez!! bravo! y suerte con la modelizacion! cool story too:thumbsup:

at last i found some free time! this is a fast rough of the scene. I think this viewpoint gives a icon feel to the image, but not much “spectacularity” (or however it writes). The lines behind are the Walkers… walkin :P, and that kind of wall beyond the lines is a biiiig waterfall, then biiiiig clouds, and those sticks are like biiiig distant buildings/towes/contructions of any kind (u see, everything is biiiiig… cause its GSO xD )

greetings!

#25

this rough is even worse! sorry, no time! but what matters here is the angle… mmm… i like these one, but i dont know… what do u think guys?

greetings

#26

I like the perspective!

style is really outstanding… it’s all so… thin… really nice!
can’t wait to see more!

#27

Sebastian, your sketches are quite good, and should make for a really neat scene. The sketch of the Walker made me think of a post-Apocalyptic “Cirque du Soleil,” and I can’t wait to see it rendered in full 3D glory! Good luck! I’ll keep track of your progress.

heya

great character sketches… looking very promising… hoping to see something in 3d soon

#29

I especially like the use of details for your character sketches. That second sketch of the scene is much more dramatic and compelling. Extreme perspective=sweet. My only suggestion is to make one of the shepherds really close up in the foreground, so the viewer feels like he/she’s being herded along with the masses.

#30

thnx for the c&c , guys! i really “apreciate” ("" means im not sure how to write it :P) them

Sharga: thnx for the suggestion! i was thinkin to make a Shepherd very close to the camera, but when yr idea of suiting the viewer like he/she’s being herded along with the masses, that gave me the camera angle i was looking for! thnx

ill post some colouring sketches soon

greetings!

#31

okz, i defined some colors of the scene… ill work out the saturation and color balance, but thats the general idea (anyway, i never respect the sketches :P)
as u know, c&c r welcome

greetings

Holy sht dude,
You have practickly created an entire world. Kinda Dark but really sweet. I am not saying it is un original, nut it reminds me of Warhammer 30000. But only in the religeolse since of with the herding of the races and such. You designs are totally originall. the concepts just reminded me of it. Thanks for the vision. keep it up.

#33

Nice colors man, but I would advice to reduce the clouds. They are too big and cover too much of the sky. The feeling of division between the foreground and background is disturbed by this. Good luck!

#34

GREAT CONCEPT! I loved that book too. And… Rama!
The character sketches are wonderful, weird and beautiful at the same time, very otherworldly. Keep going!
My only suggestion would be to push the camera angle even more. Try taking it down to the walkers, seeing the shepards and the Enity from a POV inside their eyeline.

#35

how is necessary it to make to be registered with the challenge?

thanks

#36

wow! lots of replies!

gmillereight:i couldn’t finde WH30000 pics :s post a few if u have, plz!

arturro: excellent, when i was making the colour sketch, there was something on the background that was anoying me, but i didnt see what was it! u r right! but i really like big clouds… so, i think im gonna reduce them a bit, and make vertically larger the final image, so ill have space to play with the sky and separate better the fore and the background (maybe i could desaturate a bit the background, or changing its color balance, makin almost an unique tone… ill see) thnx!

BC “mil nueve sesenta y siete” :D: yes, i was thinkin on it, pushing more the angle not only will give me a more detailed view, i think it will bring more power to the scene, but for the colouring sketch i didnt redraw the scene, i used the old sketch and painted on in :stuck_out_tongue: too lazy and short of time :stuck_out_tongue:

worleyclarence: i didnt understand the question :s

greetings!
