-Tittle-
Space Hunting

-Background-

Planet name - oofuji (in japanese, it means ā€œbig fujiā€) - A small but dangerous volcanic planet. Like the hell, this planet is extremely hot, and only the most resistant beings livings creature are capable to survive on this planet. ItĀ“s environment is compound essentially of rocks and volcanos, with a dense gray clouds and lots of rays and thunders caused by the smoke generated from the volcanos. There are some areas where the surface are plane.

-The Creatures-
Name - Kataimono (in japanese, it means ā€œhard thingā€) - those creature have a very incredible skin! Their skin can transform from a soft malleable to a hard indestructible skin easily! This is possible because of a special hormone they have. Their big claws and muscle help to fix themselves on the rocks, so they are able to defend themselves from the constant explosion of the volcanos. Eyes are a very fragile part of the body, so the ā€œkataimonosā€ donĀ“t have eyes, they locate in the space using a extremly sensible ā€œradarā€, like the bats, which also help them to prevent from the explosion of the volcanos and any other type of atack.

-The hunters-

Name - Samurai-ja oOfH-n024 (ninja means - nin = ā€œpersonā€ - ja = ā€œmagicā€ - A magic samurai - oOfh-n001 = operation OoFuji hunting - number024 ) - The Samurai-ja, a cyber hunter commanded by humans, was made after 24 tries of hunting the ā€œkataimonosā€. Before that, the humans tried to use many diferent bombs. Because the focus of the human is to maintain the fisical integrity of the kataimonos, so they could use the kataimonos skin, the use of bombs was very limited. The only way to battle with the kataimonos was in a near combat. Sure the human is not so stupid to do that without the use of technology, then after a lot of studies they created the samurai-ja. Why a samurai? Firt of all, because of the ability of the samurais to use the sword, a very silent weapon. Plus, they are very agile and fast.

-The ships-

Basicaly, will have 4 types of ā€œmachines/shipsā€.

  1. HCB - Human Control Base - A ā€œalmost semisphericalā€ base which will containonly humans. The human control the samurai-jaĀ“s in a long distance. This ship will be seeded on the locals where the surface is plane. The HCB was build to be like a volcano, so it can foil the kataimonoĀ“s in a extreme case.

  2. hcb seeder - As the proper name says, it“s the HCB seeder ship.

  3. SJS - Samurai-ja Ship - Will contain the samurai-ja“s. This ship will be like a boat, and the bottom and part of the top can be destroyed, so it“ll be able to settle on the rocks.

  4. KST - Kataimono Special Transporter - will transport dead and also some living kataimonos for deeper studies.

-The scene and story-

The main purpose of the human attack is to survival. The kataimono skin is very powerful, which can help to protect from bomb attacks, natural forces and also from extreme temperatures.
The scene will be very dense, with lot of thinks happening at the same time. The principal focus will be the attack, of course. A scene with much contrast, with ā€œmagma explosionā€, gray clouds, big thunder flashes, rocks and rocks and rocks. there isnĀ“t too much to say about the scene. The concepts should speak by itself. well, i hope so.

Nice idea. If you want some inspiration in mixing japanese culture and spaceships I’d suggest you take a look at Masamune Shirow’s manga Orion (pretty hermetic story but awesome designs) . Keep it up!

Hmmm… This looks good, and looking at the background story i think that i am not overdoing my own story, it is still developing. And with that development i am not so sure anymore about the final image, now that the story deepens more iconic moment arise from it.

#34

Yo! Snok! whats up! sorry I havent been able to follow your thread, I have so many in my inbox, its just crazy!, but here is my input for you.

first, can you paint and show us a painted version of your scene?

second, I would add lots more of those creatures to the area, I mean, make it look like a hive.

Masamune Shirow’s manga Orion << Very good, try it :bounce: >>
Ill be back once you add some more color to your concept

-cheers!

(note: if I get lost, please pull me back to the thread) thank you

adr: Thanks adr, it“s good to see you liked the poses! I did it to help me to visualize how complex will be the skin deformation, then when I turn to 3D its gonna be easier.

RobertJ: Hi RobertJ, thanks for your reply!! Your background story is cool!!

ARSA: Hi friend!! Don“t worry about the replies!! You know, I“m so slow.
