OMG! hope everything is fine, do you back up in cd’s or something, I keep backing up, just in case. My pc is acting weird lateltly, I don’t want my efforts to go to waste…

Well XP is finally installing, just fyi, I backup quite frequently. So the loss if any is likely to only include the last day or so of updates… 
still 18+ solid hours of work probably going to be lost… I think it was not the Harddrive at all, I think it was my USB 1/2.0 hub system internally. I have 8 usb 2.0 on board ports 4 firewire. Then I have a breakout box with another 2 of each. (yes I have alot of perifials, video production is my major, ie Adobe VS, Premiere, After FX, Audition etc…) After disconnecting all my usb items except mouse and keyboard win2k actually finished installing and booted. Now I am currently installing upgrade to XP. I hope it works.

Honestly, if this works, and I can get back to it soon the most disheartening part will not be the loss of existing work. Rather it would be the loss of flow in mind. I had an assembly line going. I need to get my steam back up, thanks to all of your support throught this crisis, I will be able to muster the force needed to jumpstart my designs again… TY

well so far so good. It must have been a usb driver or device… really strange. I don’t know. But I got a new ship design I am about to post up that was the last thing I rendered out, (once I get everything running again I will post more renderings and WIP of this ship)

There are a few UVW issues I am trying to iron out but this is the basic model for the Terrans Giagantic Carrier Class ship. Yeah I know family photo time right?
