Very nice Tron-like texturing !
I’m not sure but it looks like there are some slight texture distorsions on the main hull…and the rear wing textures don’t match exactly the others. I guess these are only tests and you will fix that later.

Anyway, there is a cool 70’s feeling with your ship ! I like that !

Yeah there are a few, if I have time I might get around to fixing them, but this ship is going to be tiny and there will be lots of them in different colors. I am hoping that the light mapping on these ships will help them to stand out against a star filled space battle going on in the scene. Lol at the Tron connection, I was just talking to my brother about Tron a few days ago. I loved the design in that movie soo much. The I/O Tower the Guardian, all of it. Very stylized and NEO’ish (not matrix Neo), I wasn’t consciously trying to do that but hey, if it jargs your tronconsciousness then W00tage! Thanks for the points, had I not already noticed the UV glitches that might of saved me later… :slight_smile:

What more updates…This is the record,it has to be,I like these latest versions a great deal.They do remind me of tron like deadly force mentioned,but also like some very colorful wasps,nice intensity and vibrancy.Plus the designs are sleek,really a great effort here and a nice result each time…:thumbsup: :buttrock:

a crit on the texturing for the latest updates on the epsillon… the pattern is a bit too busy. I think try to clear up some of the strips so there’s more ‘cleaner’ areas to rest eyes on. I guess it’s a matter of taste, but the model is getting lost in the texture. Interested to hear your thoughts…

Great updates! I think I like the green and orange the best. Virtuoso is right about the neat wasp look… I think the yellow has it the most. I’d be more likely to fly the red variant if it was darker perhaps… :slight_smile: (maybe somewhat maroon-ish… I’m not sure).

The texture brings Tron to mind for me too… which is cool, cause I love Tron… hehe.

Anyhow… it’s all coming along really nice! Keep it up…! :thumbsup:

PS: I also agree that a line-up would be really sweet… if you had the time to set that up… :buttrock:

Bad news folks… the machine has been stopped by his machine… :sad: My computer took a flying leap to its death last night shortly after posting up the last color update. Max crashed, then the computer, then it refused to turn back on. I am posting this from my trusty 200mhz I-mac jukebox (its sits and streams radio stations / plays cd’s in I-Tunes, thats about it) I have no idea what I am going to do. I think its my Hard-drive because windows refuses to re-install on it. I cannot afford to have it data-recovered or buy a replacement so this my cripple me for the contest… I am soo upset I can barely type. As if getting laid off when you need money the most wasn’t sand in my eye, this is a kick in the groin when I am already flat on my back.

Shit! can’t be! fight my friend! Maybe try to connect the hard drive to other computer as a slave disk… would be best to the one with the same operating system… and try to recover your data! I’m sure they are not corrupted. Maybe only the file on which max crushed…

I am installing on a second lesser machine, hoping to find a back door to my data. I can only pray that some how this problem fixes itself. I have just logged too many hours to give up. I must find a way…

are u on Mac or PC?

if you’re using PC… try a program called Easy Recovery Pro. I’ve used it before and recovered most of the data from my corrupt hdd…

connect your drive as slave, and open easy recovery… if will run a scan and show you what can be recovered.

Hey man…don’t do anything… :bounce: …open the pc …unplug disk…install a spare small one as a primary disk…whn u have operating system installed …turn off the pc…install the crashed disk as a slave in the second IDE cable…fire up the machine and wait…it it says that needs to CHKDISK on the boot …don’t leave it do so the first time…make the boot to continue without this…probably your Disk is PARKED…try this …it may 60% chances to work…if not reboot and let checkdisk do it’s thing…

Its a PC, if it were a Mac this would not be an issue… I would just put in Norton Utilities and ask it to make the computer work, wait a bit and be a happy camper… but no its a PC…

Unfortunantly after the 20th+ attempt at trying to reinstall this on a second drive as posted by Dimitris (this is what I have been doing…) I think my old drive is no good. It sat in a box too long. I am searching through all my stuff try, hoping, praying I find “a” drive which can have a temp OS on it.
