Mohammed, I like the composition of your scene – lots of visual interest. The ships are also quite unique and have almost an organic look, so it should be fascinating to see what the textures look like.
As for the backstory, it’s got a nice human element, but one whopping logical problem: you’ve basically posited a technologically advanced civilization with no knowledge of geology.
Seriously, they’ve got space travel … but obviously no means of determining the age of the strange rocks (clearly not native to the planet) that dot their world and should tip them off to the fact that EVERY TEN THOUSAND YEARS the planet gets bombarded by asteroids.
Of course, none of this has anything to do with whether the final image works … but it does raise an interesting question: would it be possible for a civilization to develop that is extremely advanced in certain sciences, but sorely lagging in others?
Just something your scene has me pondering.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing how your image progresses. Best of luck!
