woohoow man!.. ur modeling is really awesome… insane detailing in the grand building!.. very cool… and dude the council member looks really great… btw i got a little suggestion on the council member… u can make the face more organic or make it look like a hard mask… currently it looks more like something in between… its okay if u wanted to do that… but u know its just me…keep pusing those vertices pal! ur almost there!.. good luck mate!! :thumbsup:

I have completed modelling this one, the next buildings are going to flow a lot better as I’m thinking of first modelling the two completed and then using some of the various textured small parts to fill the new ones. C&C are welcomed!

overcontrast, thanks mate! The councli member is supposed to wear a mask so I’ll head this way, thanks for pointing it. As for the vertices thing…there are a LOT vertices to be pushed and a hell more LOTTER (that’s some good english!!) to be created!!

That is a really nice design. I love the extensive detail work you put into it. After all the UVW mapping I did yesterday I can only imagine that this one will be umm, fun! :wink: Keep at it I can’t wait to see more.

in addition don’t forget to consider christmass holydays… for instance i personally will be forced few days do nothing cos have to spend this days (4-7) for family… thats great for sure but if the officials (Leonard) of this challenge can add one week to the deadline would be simply fantastic…

adr, thanks for your support! Unfortunatelly, the modelling process includes some 3 buildings , 4 spaceships and 3 more characters :smiley: (I’ll see how I manage all these!!). Currently I’m thinking to move on to some texturing on the existing staff…

I think I’m moving faster this weekend (updates to come in this day) but it is not fast enough! I have lots more to be done. Holidays you mention is something! A week extension would be some nice christmas gift from the challenge officials!

Here is an Alien Face that is to be used as basis for 3 different types (as shown on image too). I’ve added some texture thoughts too. I want it to look like an elephant’s skin but white. C&C more than welcome!

Here is the final model (I think) of the Council Member. Also started some texturing, this far I consider textures of head (mask) and the cloth underneath as final. Also have to think of some colors for the rest of his clothes. C&C always welcomed!

Yeah!! great stuff:buttrock: I also think that these cables could illuminating… I think it would make him more mysterious if his appearance was partly covered by the light from the cables…
