Grand Space Opera 3D Entry: Mike Giannakopoulos

#201

This is the red guy in the composition. Currently I’ve modelled the upper part. Moving to lower part and clothing, then some mental hair and a proper Band…then of to texturing! I’ve programed the whole process for today…C&C always welcomed…

ereitz - thanks mate! The scale will hopefully pop up when the puzzle set together…Some mist will be used and several sship flying around all these buildings will help alot! Thanks again!

Arturro - Thanks for comments mate! I think I’ve got it right…:D…I’ll give it a shot!

See you soon I hope with more Emperor updates! :wip::arteest:

Making impressive progress here Mike. The composition looks really good with the blocks, perhaps it could work with less of those islands but it’s hard to say right now.

Red guy model looks good so far - looking forward to the textures! Keep going

#204

OK,OK a bit more work on the Emperor. Some more modelling and then moving to textures!

Looks like you’ve been working hard all day. Good start on the Emperor, i have nothing to C&C on…yet. Compostion test looks good too, can’t wait to see the real models in place.

#208

great style! I like him a lot, especially the head design. Only legs look strange to me. I’m waiting for more and wish you more time than I have:)

#209

Hi terraarc,

I like your composition test, seems to flow nicely. Your character looks good aswell, looking forward to the textures.

#210

Heya it’s been a while, glad to see so much progress!

The new comp looks absolutely fantastic, the part where the buildings seem to spill out totally kicks ass! You got me all excited now. As for the emperor I feel the legs could be a bit longer, unless u have something in mind later on.

Cheers!

Great progress in here. Like the Grande Building and its texture very much, lots of details goving on here. As for the emperor character, I think it has some problems in proportions, a little cartoon feeling. But that´s probably because it looks human(the body), and I measure proportions to a human body. So maybe this alien person just looks that way…

Thx for the continuing support in my entry, totally cool!!!

Here is some progress on texturing this fella…I heed some heavy crits and suggestions concerning colors!!
Started a bit on lighting and texturing the ground mostly used in the forground of the image…
