Towers rock! I’m really liking what you’re modeling.

 I just can’t wait to see how everything will fit together.

hey guys! thanks again for the support and nice comments, I’ve busy and I can post updates now, I hope to put the next part (the engine) of the cruiser in the next few days.

thanks and have nice weekend!

#137

hey this is sweet… i like those sturctures… and ur rendering test is really nice… i’m liking ur idea… keep it up bro

#138

Hey there!
Very great control tower, cool details, like the antenas and pipes, thumbs up! Looks something like a deck on a cruise ship
Keep up the good work!

#139

really nice ! Modeling is great ! keep the faith !
The only comment I would do is that in my opinion, all the spaceships go in the same way… Should be nice if there’s something more chaotic in the flight of that group of spaceships…

Nice modeling for the ARG Battlecruiser Control Tower, great details!
Waiting for update!! :buttrock:

The modeling and texture mapping is fantastic. I just have one concern. In your current concept art the ships are all facing forward. In the midst of all of this there is a large octopus creature attached to an obviously important large ship. The detail work of the explosion from the outstretched arm is done very well. I just wonder why other ships are not attacking the creature. I guess you could say, how did they entire fleet miss this thing coming to attach itself to this ship. I like the way its attached but it feels disconnected from the rest of the entire piece. Perhaps you might make the scene more chaotic with ships flying toward the camera getting enough distance to turn around, maybe so have completed the turn and flying back toward the creature for another pass. Anyway, I love your work so perhaps a few minor changes might bring your comp up to par with the rest of your work.

hola dude!! what a great progress!! I love those towers, very detailed and good looking!!
the composition is good the texturing and lighting on that planet is really awesome!! I really like how this pic is shaping! keep rocking!

#143

I like your concept idea. The giant space squid into a surprise attack is very good.:bounce:
Maybe the entire fleet is a little too organized?
Keep up the good work dude!!

#144

me gusta mucho tu composicion plag’ tal vez deberias poner la nave que esta atrapada por el pulpo como si ella se fuera hacia abajo debido a el peso del pulpo que quite la trajectoria de las otras naves le daria tal vez una impression mas dramatica…

translation attempt: i like very much your composition but maybe it cool be cool if the main ship caught by the spaceoctopus take a different direction of the other ships like goin down due to the strenght of the octopus …it could be more dramatic impression…but it’s just a suggestion…sorry for my dramatic english:shrug:

The engine (back view)

#146

another view, the details are not visible to the camera but I want to model the entire ship.

#147

I started the hull, its far from finished but I want to share the wip. This is more the camera view perspective.

click on the picture to see it bigger

overcontrast: thanks man

kaksht: thanks! Yeah, me main idea it make it look like a naval ship deck, to make the ambient for the squid scene.

gpepper: thanks for the opinion, yea a lot of people are saying that, too organized fleet… I will work on that!

SuperXCM: thanks a lot!

DM: (I can´t read your nick! lol) thanks dude, originally, tha idea was a “ambush”, and thats why the other ships still not see it, but I guess I failed to transmit that idea. Maybe I will change the idea of the scene more to a space-battle.

oblivionblack: Thanks a lot for the kind words, I really like your entry and your work is impressive, its really good to receive your support!

proctavian: thanks man, yeah, the same organized problem!

jaba153: muchas gracias! Coincido contigo, el crucero va a estar inclinandose hacia el calamar, esta en esa posicion porque todavia no lo termine de moledar :stuck_out_tongue:
T: thanks a lot, I agree, the battlecruiser will be fallin to the squid, is in that position because I´m still modeling it!

Now about the picture:

Hi again, I make another render, with the updates on the battlecruiser and another color for the squid, plz let me know what you think. maybe its too strong…
I´m really busy so thats why I can post updates on the week, maybe the next weekeed I can post the battlercruiser finished.
Thanks again to all for the support, and sorry for not having time to reply on your entrys, but believe me I´m following all of them!

#149
