the organisms that grow inside the big whale grow as living forms, with a mind quite similar to human mind. They live in the same time in a virtual world where they have virtual hands and stuff so they can evolve in a human way.

haha thanks guys, don’t worry that will not be in the final image… just an image I had in mind, wanted to concretize it … since it’s in the same universe I posted it on the right that’s a baby “whale” and on the left one other organism… a “flying brain” … and he’s not very smart yet as fellah pointed (well maybe we will see some of them playing around that “building” the adult “whales” have on their back )

I really like your designs, the crossing of organic living things with the space theme is something I also am thinking of for my concept. Perhaps the scene seems slightly empty now, but I also think that adds to the atmosphere.
I think you should read Dan Simmons the Hyperion series, I reckon you would LOVE it.

I think there will be finally some humans … last remnants,biologically immortal, they are in symbiosis with the earth organism, almost parasites. They are kept alive by the earth organism because they are seen as the “degree of freedom” of the system, the chaotic element preventing the system from crystalisation and sclerosis.
