all I have right now is just a background that I thru together in PS

A bit of a background story, it’s nearing the end of the century and Earth has become to small, for the latter half of the century various governments have started creating large machines that convert uninhabitable planets to something a little bit more habitable, before sending out this new technology, the governments of Earth sets up a Council that will deal with issues this new venture shall bring, the Council creates a small but sizeable force that will land scout the targeted planet for any signs of life. This force made up of volunteers from every army around the glode, all ready to embark on this great event that will change mankind forever.

Love the colours, can we see a larger version?

Still loads to do.

Ohee, this almost looks like a diorama, you know a display where you show your Airfix spaceships

#6

RobertJ you are right , endeed it looks like a diorama . well done dae.
The atmosfere is awsome. keep on going

#7

thanks guys,

Mark

#8

The atmosphere is great! I like this light halo and lence flare you created.

But I’ve also got something to critic: The terrain looks kind of tiny to me, but I’m sure that’ll change as soon as you start putting in characters and vehicles and so on.
Good luck!

#9

thanks for the crit, now that you mention it does look a bit on the small side, will see what I can do to fix it.

That’s exactly what I felt when I saw the picture : this looks great but it gives me the feeling of looking at a close up of a sand ground with some little stone here and there. You should try to change the grain of the sand, to make it almost invisible, and add details on the rock textures so that we can think those are much larger pieces.

#11

I will basing my main character off one of my old sketchs, more to come as soon as I get my scanner to work.
later

Mark

Your view of the terrain is so realistic! Can’t wait to see how it evolves.
