This is a common soldier of the Tregg Stellar Empire. Any adornment worn by the common soldier is tassled to the back end of the carapace.
Grand Space Opera 3D Entry: Mark V. Lawson
This is much better I think. It still retains the long helmet but is much more alien in character. What do you think?
I’ve begun the modeling phase of my project. I’m much more comfortable just diving in and building as opposed to trying to draw this stuff before hand.
At any rate, this is the initial modeling for a merged G’duun. Once textured and put in context it is going to be a truly fightening alien creature.
This is a Tregg initial model. Kind of like a cross between an elephant and an aphid.
Please, opinions on my creatures most welcome.
This is a modeling sketch of a Tregg Knight. I’m trying to develop an armor of some sort for the plasma arc weilders. How does that long helmet still work?
This is a Tregg with textures. I’m still working on armor and adornment. That is what will imply the Tregg’s culture.
Since this is a still image competition and not an animation, and postwork and compositing is encouraged, I will dispense with seeking perfection in the modeling and remove seams and such in post work near the final pic. Why struggle to do something the hard way when you can do it the easy way and you can’t tell the difference in the final pic eh?
Hey there mate! Pretty impressive race you’ve got! and moving fast with modelling/texturing!
Tregg guy looks good.
Didn’t quite get that think you said on seam removing… I personally prefer fixing all seam and texture problem while in texturing mode…working with an alternative workflow maybe…
