Latest Update: Modeling: GalenSquareModels

This is what I’m making from the original spline work concept. I’ll keep adding detail, and I’m planning on rendering a few shots with the grass and foliage around the courtyard. Once I put in some texturing work the scale should look right. The square itself is about the size of 1,1/3 footballs fields.

This is a Galen Aerowing class five fighter. Small, swift, silent and deadly; this bleeding edge spacecraft is the pride of the Galen military.

This is an aerial view of Galen Capitol Square. It features arches, a monument, a fountain, stairs, a bridge, and a modern castle built into the side of a mountain. Whats more is that the castle features a man made waterfall which protects its entrance. This square will hopefully represent the mid-ground of the final image. The story-telling will be done in the foreground, and I plan to build a lavish city in the background. The sky’s will be filled with battling fighters in the foreground, and the background will consists of a space cruiser, and an extremely close planet. I decided Galen will be a moon colony.

Eagerly awaiting to see some modelworks of the city… I bet it’ll look grand.
Good luck.

This is the evil TriFighter. The common space fighter of the enemy.

This is the basic form for the TriFighter. I\'ve assembled this much in 3DS Max. I\'ll add more detail to the model from here, but I\'m just checking to see what the public thinks of the model before getting into the more intricate details.

Thank you. I’m looking forward to it as well. Are you entering the contest? And if so, have you uploaded any images yet? What software are you planning on using?
