#445

lookin’ good
are you changing the scene to be a night scene?

#446

yes that is the plan…

#447

starting to populate the scene…my machines not crying to much yet…but I bumped down the subD levels on the display just enough so you could see them…very stressed out right now !!!

#448

Great job man. That is looking amazingly detailed. Those creatures look mean, the characters look tempered in hell. Keep at it. Yes it is an fun week. With 9 days, everyone is scrambling to finish. Realizing the pains of pulling things all together and having a good time! Keep it up!

#449

Just checking in quick with a little word of advice for anyone who reads this…

…If you haven’t already…BACK UP EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ONTO A CD OR SOMETHING!!! … now…these are some major computer crashing scenes going on and I hate reading when someone losses all their SHT…(i;ve done it to a few times :argh: }…

,I feel bad for our poor buddy Arturro…

#450

Man that stinks…:banghead: But at least yours is coming along great, you’re almost there now mate…

#451

OK now now my machine is crying…had only one crash…for some reason working with LW PFX editor gets pretty bitchy at these exream High poly levels…

the dark grey area’s in the camera veiw are unseen…so I sill will have the super wide screen look ( 500/1200)…final tiff will be 2000/4800…)))

#452

hey i sure wish I had some render tests to show you guys…but it’s gonna be days in the render boxx for this one…peace…

#453

Wow! That’s gonna rock! Very promising mate! But why you want to render the whole scene together? I will have probably about 10 layers of renders to compose in Photoshop.

#454

Well Artturro I am composing it all in one scene…then I will “split” the scen into renderable sizes with a hand LW pluging called split render…this way it saves me a ton of post compsiting…I am still though going to render out 3 layers seperatly for different DOF blurs…This is by far the hugest thing I have ever done…I’m surely over 10,000,000 polys in this scene… :argh: …double :argh:

#455

Just poped in to give an update…rendering out my layers now…it’s taking a bitch of a long time and I’m very scared I will not make it in time… :argh:

#456

You are crazy with that polygon counts:eek:
And keeping the thing in one file, uaaa, thats stupid. whats the file size?

Your render is very gray, do you use indirect lightning or GI, skylight? light evriro map? or what?

#457

 that is crazy… but beutiful !!!

#458
