Latest Update: Concept Sketch: Robot Concept

Here is the robot concept sketch. I wanted to give it that industrial look to it with those glass transisters on the head for a more 50’s look to it.

Here is a basic layout of the scene that I am trying to make. I want to give it that art deco style of the 50’s sci-fi movies. The image will be a “David vs. Galliath” theme to it.

An interesting idea indeed. There is a strong dramatism in your composition.
But I suggest that you put the camera a bit lower to underline the height of a giant.
And I think that the character should cover himself with his hand and not to pull it towards the giant (it has a friendly look) or throw something in order to defeat him…
Maybe some weapon lying aside - because othervise a question appears: how the “Golliath” will be defeated.

I am planning on having him shooting a ray gun at the robot. That is what will defeat the robot.
