It has a very homeworld 2 feel to it, which quite franckly is not to bad of a thing. The secound concept I find more visually impressive,… if only because of the strength and solemnity of the ship.

The color treatment is going in the right direction as far as producing a more “emotive” feel, almost like a nostaglic photo from the past. I think you should keep the sun’s glare in the scene to give space more of a living sense to it.

I think the only thing you are missing are smaller objects that would go a long way to producing more of a sense of scale.

Keep up the good work.

I think your last image has the best layout. You could have the ship in front of the planet a bit more to give a better sence of positioning. Maybe a large docking bay the stretches towards the camera a bit, to pull your eye from ship then eventually to the planet, instead of vise versa.

I like your sketches, hope will find some modeling soon. Keep working.

I find some similarities between our works, it cool, we have differents concepts but in some way we match the way of modeling. Take a look. www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=184160&highlight=Snake+Farlow
