This is just a test to see the geometry, i didn´t use any light or effect, soon i´ll post a good image with light for better tests.

Front view test, to see how is the geometry working. Using Mental Ray to render the images, no lights, no Final Gathering, no Global Illumination, just the default configuration.

Wow, that’s one of the best soldier design I’ve seen in this competition. You sure knew what you wanted to do, everything works on that guy, except colors scheme (well, this feeling may come from the strange black material). Hope to see more char design from you.

Hey guys thank you for all comments, really! Hope you enjoy yje workflow of this work.

Chug, i really didn´t like the black part too. I am making some tests, but the original idea was to be leather, and the other parts a metal with red collor and silver collor too, or white, i think i´ll really know what will be better when the model will have shaders, so i´ll can make some render tests. But for now, i´ll continuous trying in the sketches, soon i´ll post some upgrades. Thank you again.

This mapping is planar in Y. And i decided too, taht this ship will have a energy tail, that when a enemy ship pass through it, it´cuts the ship. The Arraias have a defense that can´t let the tail cut them too.

here occurred an error cause of the planar in Y axe.
I selected this faces and made another plane mapping in X to fix it after when i stitch all the edges in the UV Texture Editor.

here we still have 2 errors in this mapping, i´ll fix it mapping the 2 parts maybe in, maybe, 6 or 8 little parts, and i´ll merge them in the texture editor fo make it uniform.

The modeelling finished, but i am having an ideea to put in the bottom partt of this ship an Air Entry, like the Fighters today have it.

This is the start fo the Gundak Ship Modelling. I used polygon modelling starting with an esfere.

Well, I came looking at the last image but the sting ray model is looking very good as well. I thought it was going to be a flying wing till you put the tail on. :smiley:

This is the night soldier. It means that:

The humans are weaks, and the unit time the strong Gundaks are less attentious to the war is at night cause they need to sleep in a special bed of “criogeny” to live more than the normal life time they have (they are bad, aren´t they?). So the humans have changed the old war cloth to just really attack at night, so they at least can kill some more Gundaks than during the day time. This is the Night Human Soldier.
