As you can see sketching isn’t one of my strong points but giving it a go.
Colour considerations. Im leaning towards the blue, but the intenity of the red gives a sense of panic.
Hi, and good luck
I like the Pyramid with a cone of light idea, it mixes up ancient civilisation with tech stuff. But don’t forget that your scene has a “story to tell”. And try to put some other buildings in the scene, so that we can feel the scale of things.
I like the purple scene, the picture seem less calm than the blue version.
I like your method of work. I think it’s the way to go. I’m trying to read all threads in this contest, I saw many of them and it’s clear that the majority of people starts with 1 sketch and then immediately with the modelling of a detail. I think that there all potential ideas are going to be lost without initial sketches…roughing down a global vision, trying to imagine how the future composition will be, how will interact elements…I don’t think that sketches have to be at all costs masterpieces of art, their power is in the synthesis (does exist this word in English?)… I don’t know, maybe I didn’t understand well the rules…but…there will be an evalutation on the “artistic” values of our studies and sketches too?
Bye. Have a nice work.
