Is Hypervoxel a plugin for Lightwave or just a particel system in the main prog?
excellent models, but the legs (mainly of the greater) are not very feminine?

@ monsitj …U are right i could go with FLUIDS in Maya…but i own a license of Maya Complete and not Unlimited :argh: …that’s the main reason…i have Unlimited only at the studio i work for and these days i am on holidays vacation…and even when i am there i don’t have much time to work on my stuff… :sad: …so basically all the explosions and particle effects i will have in my final will be Maya Software rendered particle systems, Hypervoxels from LW and Real time particle effects from a program we have at wotk called Illusion
(…this one is a real time saver :bounce: )
@ lotaH …maybe they look a bit 'cuase of the fluid muscle lines…but i am against making a beast leg design just becuase it has a beast face…i don’t think that there is a strict rule for this…
hahahahahah ( i should be a Lawyer…hahahah)…but i am saving i think…the situation in texturing of those …“cute” legs…

looking good. i thing you’ll end up rendering peaces and putting them back together in photoshop, cos i don’t think even 4 gigs of RAM will get even a couple of those babies with the cool fighters you made and the sparrow and stuff…

Hahaha …wheels are left like that 'cuase nothing of their texture is visible where the tank will be except coloring of tires…and …actually my Dual G5 (with 3 GIGS ram) handles ALL the models together for render in the scene in 3000 x 4000 pixels Mental Ray render…just tested… :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: …weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :bounce:

…first layer of explosion on Bridge…very simple setup…but it will do the trick i think…the “starts” of tails are not yet rendered nad also there will be 2 more layers in inner explosion just to give richer texture and volume to the effect…
