I think you’ve made an excellent job especially for the bumps that define the jaw. There’s a real animal (bestial ?) feeling on these ones…

For the crits now : …what ? no crits ? ah si !
The corner of the eyes, like someone said lacks flesh.
And I’m sure you will do something for his neck unless it is some kind of “Cardassian” looking guy.:smiley:

I have just been reading up a bit more on HL2, have to admit there are a few times where I wouldn’t mind having a Windows PC …they’re only short moments though :smiley:

edit: nice to see something is slowing you down a bit at last by the way, might just give the rest of us a chance to catch up :smiley:

Very nice character. Looks like a very old Granadian sage to me. I can almost imagine his wisdom and his commanding eyes.

You have mentioned on your earlier replies saying you are working in layers. I understand the concept of it in rendering but in modelling? Can you please explain if you dont mind me asking.

@ maranello55 …thanks friend…well basically working in Layers is the same in a way like in composition of an image…u have every differnt part u work in a layer…so if u need to focus in something u don’t walk around all your models in the scene…by organising this from the beginning u just end up having everything in order and so u are not lost even in a scene extremely big…and also by layering u can hide always stuff not important at the momment of modeling something else…and thus take some load of your VGA card and procesors back :slight_smile: for example u can hide legs of a character and torso if u are working with his hands or head and so on…hope i helped.

Great progress! The face is looking freakin angry and raw! He is a hell of a heavy facilitated unit! I just wonder where are you going with him texture-wise. Somehow I see a mixture of Warcraft 3 orc and some warhammer guy (quote: Have you played Warhammer 40000? :slight_smile: I’m not game kind of guy) with all this artiliery on him!
